Besides the coloring ("Purple Haze"), I think the image lacks a strong focal point or subject. Is this a picture of a house? A rock formation? The waves lapping at the beach? The abundant purple sky? It's a beautiful setting, but I think the picture is saying "Here's a picture of a pretty beach we saw on vacation." Where's the interest? What am I being asked to look at more closely?

Composition is very pleasing and balanced (other than a very slight tilt in the horizon) but the colors are way off.

The colors look fake and over-processed in the blue/purple tones. Also, it's fighting with the orange glow falling onto the rocky cliffs...my mind is confused whether it's sunrise, sunset, dusk or dawn. Not a bad photo though by any stretch.

The colors aren't natural. Purple skies? The water is muddled as well. I would take this back into PS and work on the true colors of it or at least make it look a bit realistic ;)

It's purple. It's an interesting choice and the amber tones of the sand intensify the color contrast.

The horizon is a bit off of level, which makes it look like the water is running onto the land a bit.

In reply to your request for comments, the colors seem skewed heavily toward magenta and maybe cyan as well, and it also seems a bit oversaturated. If you have Photoshop, open Curves and make the house or the froth of the waves your white point, which should make the colors look more natural.
