| Well composed photo with a subtle diagonal leading me from the walkway to the clouds. The landscape is certainly stark, but the bright blue sky and picnic table and grill tend to work against the topic for me. |

| Might have looked more desolate in black and white. The resevoir provides a nice contrast to the mountain range. |

| Great find! This is reminiscent of those phone booths in the middle of nowhere. This sure looks bound to be desolate for the long haul until the dust storms reverse their blow pattern. |

| The landscape is good to show desolation, but I would have shown the picnic table as a secondary subject in the picture |
