I would have cropped above the leg completely and taken quarter to half of the window out of the shot. I think it would present a much stronger composition that way. Also, the quality of the overall shot isn't bad, but there's too much grain.

i like the way the grey scale is used in this photo it seems almost sad though, as if the child is waiting for someone that may not come home.

Charming - a bit grainy, but a classic sort of look all the same. And quite impressive that the child is not staring at the camera, as well.

What a wonderful picture of a darling little boy. I wish it were just a little more sharp. Still very good.

Beautiful pic. Your model looks very natural and the composition is pretty good. Unfortunately appears slightly out of focus and noisy

A sharper focus would have improved this photo. It is just a bit too grainy. I also would have cropped the bottom a little.

I would like to see this image sharper and crop closer to the kid.

Awww - the other photographers are gonna hate you. I like this photograph, and it nails the challenge. Just ignore the complaints about focus and light. 8

Adorable little guy!! The picture could have been a bit clearer, and it looks a bit grainy....but the cute little guy makes up for it! :) 8.....no.......a 9

I gave this a high rating. Contrast is great, though it seems grainy. Maybe that's just from resizing though. I gave it a nine!

I love the straightness of the child's back and the horizontals of the blinds, it seems a bit soft on focus to me

This is all in the pose; I like the crop at the bottom where you can see the boy's leg. He's clearly trying to climb up on the windowsill in his eagerness to see outside. I remember doing the same thing myself :)
