Greetings from the Critique Club...

Hi emtmdh :)

Drawing a conclusion of 'rhythm' from this photograph is almost impossible for me, even with the prompting title you gave it. I like the photo as it is composed (could be a little sharper probably) but I just don't think it meets the challenge vividly enough to do well here. Your score probably reflects this sentiment. Some of the comments you received also demonstrate the fact that some subjects are offensive to certain viewers. When this happens, the viewer won't go past being offended to look at the image.

1. Try not to be on the 'fringe' of meeting the challenge.

2. Try to avoid offensive subjects.

Those two tips will improve your score on this site :)

Brutal. Conservative side of this site won't swallow this. I don't like corrida personally but I appreciate the capture. It reminds me of Almodovars Hable con ella.

I guess you might get some harsh comments on this one. As a journalistic shot it is okay, I myself would have left more room around the sides, it comes over a little too cramped in somehow. I saw a similar shot in the cliche challenge.

Subject is a turn off for me and the sutter speed looks to slow to stop the motion.

Dramatic photo. A bit of a reach for "Rhythm." And frankly I find this a bit pornographic.
