This was my alternate entry...decided to take a chance with something a little different...nylon hose stretched over couple of pinching fingers provides the effect.

Very imaginitive shot and I instantly like the view and the seeming lip-like quality of the composition. That's a very deep pinch for skin and I think the title almost distracts me from the pic - it's nearly right but I think you would have needed a smoother membrane to use for the skin despite the metaphor.

I like the creative thinking behind it and it's well lit with good focus. [8]

A cute idea. The focus is a little too good - the threads of the fabric are very visible. Then, too, I doubt the skin is lit from within; getting the light on the same side of the fabric as the fingers might have made this more believable.

It took seeing this a couple of times till I figured it out. Now that is creative! Good capture of a good idea.

Intriguiging. I see not only the actual fingers through the nylon (my assumption) but also a pair of lips. I think this photo should be put out to more communities than this one to get feedback as it is interesting on several levels.

This is a fun image, and well executed, but it gives me the creeps for some reason. I hate the feel of panty hose... that's probably it! Nicely done, though. 9

Wow. Wow wow wow. I like it alot. The lighting is really great, and the gauzy feeling and the colour and everything. Super marvy!

interesting idea that doesn't quite come off for me...textures are distracting and the finger inside the nose is confusing quite a lighting effort I imagine

Good image, but with the following caveat: the skin is a bit parched and unflattering. Also, there's a bit of processing artifacts in the dark area of the bottom finger.
