Most of the shot is soft and gentle but then his eyes are sharp and piercing almost, staring right at you.

cute. a bit soft on the focus. a bit gray overall, too Perhaps a touch more contrast might help this pop. but nice. A 7 from me

Nice shot, I like the DOF. The grain of the shot and B&W gives it a timeless quality and the lighting on the eyes is really great. The composition is just a little off, perhaps because of the blown out highlight on the forearm on the lower right, maybe more of the arm/elbow would have helped.

I like the expression on the childn't face and B&W was a good choice for this photo. Because I just love children's hands, I would have liked to see more detail in his.
