Oh, dear. A clever idea - though it loses more than a bit for me, because we see both eyeholes at once. Someone wearing the mask wouldn't; it has to be held a distance out before that happens. I'm not sure how to counter for that and still make it clear the mask is there, though perhaps the ring framing one eye would have been sufficient. Or careful placement of a window behind something, so that the mask was seen reflected in it; getting that to work without capturing the camera would have been tricky, however.
At least on my monitor, the dark of the knives sort of run together, indistinct from each other; other than that, the crisp focus on the scene itself (rather than the mask) is nice. |
