Oh dear, I have already voted on a dead fish and another dead rat...
However, I feel that your picture has a little, not a lot, more taste. But I would persoanlly have shooted the ant away as this cheapens and adds to the disgusting-ness of the image's content.
Also, perhaps it would have put the mouse into a more peaceful position by prodding down it's legs which are waving in the air?
However, well done. Good try. |

| OMG! that is so sad. Aww, it looks like one of my gerbils. This photo definetly catches people's attention becuase of the shock factor. Great focus, like the b&w, contrast is good. The DOF is a little too short for my taste. great job otherwise. |

Excellent and nice angle. Good composition.
Nice textures and great decision to go black and white.
Would remove that stick towards top/ back.
Like the inclusion of that ant investigator.

| A dead rodent isn't that compelling of a subject for me. I don't really connect with this shot. The ant is a nice touch and the DOF works here, the softness adds to feeling of despair. |
