Really like the color contrast in this photo. That red really pops out! Nice little bit of reflection in the water as well. Only suggestion would be to try to brighten up the right side of the bridge (just my humble opinion!)

I love the colors of this shot. The dark shadows leave something to be desired. This could be a great candidate for the Take Two challenge that is currently in the submitting process. Keep the composition and the saturation, and just work on getting more light down in the water area. Maybe a different time of day?

By far the best shot in your portfolio. Great lighting and use of reflection. The colors are also nice and vivid, but not too oversaturated. You should be proud of this shot :)

Greetings from the Critique Club!

My first impression is, "WOW! What a pretty picture!" Then I read the title and laughed out loud! ;) I don't see the dirty water myself, I see a very nice reflection in the water of the bridge giving a very nice mirror effect.

What also grabbed my attention right off though was the red bar in the upper left side. It wants to lead me in or out or I'm not really sure how to feel about that bar, it's confusing me honestly. It's a nice directional line against the arch but at the same time it's competing for the attention, does that make sense. When I scroll my screen up just enough to remove the bar it really changes the entire composition of the shot. No more competition for my attention, it's all on the arch and what's inside of it.

And what is inside of that arch? The vision here is stunning to me, I love it. It looks like an arch to another world, almost a mirror world again. The reflection on the water, the bricks that are in the water, the plants on the other side, it's all creating a very visual meal for my eyes. I just can't seem to get enough! Well done overall!

Image doesn't carry the title very well... a bit too idylllic in its rendering. Lots of nice things going on here with color and line, nonetheless.

Very nice composition. Cool looking bridge hidden in the foliage. I dont know if the bricks were originally that color but they seem a bit oversaturated. Toned down just a little may ahve made this a stronger shot. Overall I like this alot.
