I like the tone in this image. Also the angle of shot gives it a great perspective. |

Hey there from the Critique Club
You have a very nice capture here. It gives me the feel of someone not afraid to do her own thing no matter what the common crowd says or thinks. I like the composition, though I would like to see that left elbow. I also like your choice of f/2.8 to produce this great depth of field. The toning is appropriate for this image, but the coloring looks flat. Slight levels and curves adjustments would have remedied that, adding some much needed contrast to the photograph. Also, when requesting submission critiques from the Critique Club, it would really help if you would add some image information in the photographer's comments section. This helps us to understand what you saw and what was going on in the frame at the time of capture. Overall, this is a pretty nice image that I would score in the 5-6 range. |

What a shame that DPCrs couldn't appreciate this image more. Look at the score you got from commenters and ignore the other! I really liked it and gave it an 8. |

Nice use of lighting and DOF. Good framing. Nothing I don't like about this one. |

What an interesting portrait! I really like the blue toning - works very well. I'm not sure about the pose - it doesn't convey dancing as much as a lady simply about to turn about to speak to two people behind her. I think perhaps that's because we can only see their top halves. But I do like the details of their outfits. |

good grain and bokeh.
I don't know what you had to crop off, but I think the lack of height of the image detracts from the overall picture |

Really cool image. I love the two women out of focus behind her. I wish we could see a little more of the dancer at right, it's hard to see what her arms are doing and I want to see what's going on. |
