Here it is with the bank removed - not that it helps much, as there are too many other things wrong with it, as have been pointed out. Many thanks to you all for your comments.

I'd like to see this crop'd tighter. The bottom (especially the stick) is more than a little distracting IMHO. |

this image looks very snap shotty, the twig in the foreground is off putting. I imagine if this was shot on the other side of the river at an angle it could have been much better. Sorry to be so blunt |

This looks underexposed to me, so the detail around your main subject is lost. |

Adjust your shutter speed one click faster, as this is too overexposed. The color looks off also, a little too red - wrong white balance, maybe? |

too many elements distract the eyes from the repetitive subjects. A little overexposed |

I see where you are going here but the distractions on the edge of the frame take away from your subject. The stick the bridge and unatractive river bank. |
