Just various close ups of the rusted containers at Gas Works Park in Seattle. I decided a triptych made it more visually interesting. I'm glad I'm shooting this type of shots again. This used to be the type of shots I would take before ;)

I love triptych and I love macro and I love the textures of old structures... looks like you hit nearly all of my buttons on this one! I am wondering if the middle photo could be sharper, though? That's the only criticism I can make.

now here's my favorite!

this is very much up my alley...

from afar, it is an abstract painting. up close, it is a universe of texture.

triptychs are close to my heart :)

The colours and shapes are great. The shadows in the first and bottom pictures are a little harsh. Have you tried the middle one as black and white using the channel mixer, making the reds dark and the blues light?

There's something about iron & rust & and old paint that really makes a picture come alive. Nice work!
