This would have been a great photo, but it seems you may have moved the camera during the shot. Good attempt though. :) |

I wish it was sharp. But I guess then it wouldn't give that sense of flight. |

Great strong colours, but it's a shame about the blur in the bottom of the shot. |

Nice shot but the softness at right is a bit distracting. |

I know it is hard to photograph insects as they are always moving and never want to stay wre you want them. I don't know how many photos you actually took, but I know that I always take heaps and the sharpest one is always the worst angle.
I love the colours here and it certinally meets the challenge, however I feel it is just too blurry.
Keep trying to get that perfect shot, it does happen!! |

Nice colors but the bottom of the butterfly is out of focus |

Its hard to get insects nice and sharp but not impossible. This would be improved by having the entire thing being sharp. Fill flash is often handy for freezing fast moving insects. |

Very nice and delicate. I wish the entire butterfly was in sharp focus. |

It is a shame that the subject is largely out of focus. |

The blurring plus the whitish strip lessen this image's impact for me. 6 |

It is a good idea, great colors but the focus is not symmetric, is more blurred in the right wing than in the left one. |

5 - Colors are quite nice. This looks, 'staged' though, not sure on the blur factor, who knows. The detail in the wall behind detracts, and 'adds' to the staged appearance. Focus more on the butterfly and perhaps a variaiton in composition and framing, may have made this better in my opinion. |
