hi, keeda. my name is christian, and i'm a member of the critique club.
First Impression:
clean, crisp and simple. a good image.
Composition:
works very well. the open area on the left balances well with the dandelion head, as do the different tones of grey in the background. i like the implied X with the line of the those two tones and the blur starting in the top right corner.
Subject:
simple, yet effective.
Technical:
i'm not sure. the more i look at it, the more i'd like to see it getting darker in the left distance. that would help balance the visual weight of the flower head.
Summary:
a very nice image, technically good, the inversion worked well. but, the more i look at it, the more i feel something is missing, but i'm not sure what it is. that's not very helpful ,is it?
