Greetings from the CC, Looks like this shot was taken in bright sunlight, which to me says you did a really good job controlling the highlights, even tho there are a few, and you could dodge them, but overall well controlled i think. You also did a great job highlighting your subjects with lots of stuff going on, despite there are so many people in the photo as a viewer I am still focused on the subject. I think your choice of B& W really helps with this also , minimizing the colors to help the viewer stay focused.
Photo is sharp and clear. Also a positive is that despite the hats you have managed to not lose details in there faces because of shadows. A very good shot I would say. I am sorry that I have so little to critisize, but it is a very good shot, on topic too.
Happy Shooting! Keep up the good work! |

I like the way the column of soldiers fades into black on the upper-right -- makes it seem like an endless procession morching out of nowhere. |

I don't know what Anzac Day is, but your picture illustrates that it's something important. The B&W works well. |

Nice shot. I would have preferred the effect had you left it in colour rather than black and white. |

excellent photojournalistic shot, like the use of B&W here, more serious and thought provoking for me. great job-8- |

OK, yeah, a parade shot works for me and the title tells me why these people are parading. Technically it's a good shot too. |

Nice shot, like the black and white, makes it more like what should be in the paper. |
