 Beautiful memories, inverted & altered.

I think the chair belonged to the Landlord's mother.
I wonder how he remembers her.

Not what you get if you inverted the original, but I had to do this! Once inverted, I found it dull and tried to create some interest.
Having said that, I could have shifted colours before inverting; even before processing, to get the same result with a simple invert - but what's the point? :)
*note: my opinion on my own image

Processing: RSE 2006 & Adobe Photoshop CS2
- Converted to 8 bit TIFF
- Opened in Photoshop and inverted
- Increased contrast using Curves
- Shifted colours using Hue/Saturation
- Resampled and added border

*Not happy with the compression. It needed around 200kb for good detail.

** Hoping for fly high and prepared for the machine gun

Well.... It was sooooo different. Gave it a 10. Pity, that due to to much saturation it was rejected as a "poper" negative :( Wish you luck next time.

Not really fond of the extreme saturation in this image, makes it seem very muddy. Like the color composition though, just wish it wasn´t so saturated.
