Castle Campbell again

Exactly this view (minus the railings and with some glass) from the great hall could have been enjoyed by Mary Queen of Scots who stayed at the castle in 1563

Cleverly framed and composed.

Hope you walked up to the castle through the glen rather than driving. I was there a couple of years back and got better pics from the walk up than from the Castle itself.
"The road to nowhere" and the experimental "Once upon a time" were among the day`s shoot.

I`m enjoying following your trail over Scotland...must remember to have a browse through your portfolio.

Lighting is a little harsh here. Needs a little extra to make the composition interesting.

Good image. To me something seems slightly off though. Maybe a different crop with less of the foreground window would make this better.

I think this is a good choice to made b/w, gives it a more ancient feel.

Good choice of B/W. A good saw would've taken care of that railing :).

Nice use of B&W, I like the old stonework acting as the window.

Nice black & white treatment. Some of the highlights on the front wall seem just a bit blown out though.

I like this composition but the sky around the inner building is terrible. Another bw conversion method or procedure, like using the channel mixer in photoshop might have given you a different sky colour while maintaining the contrast on the rest of the image.
