This was shot at Shurijo Castle Park on Okinawa, Japan. I know it's not quite a window...but I thought it would fit. Thanks Nate.

Adjusted the saturation to add color.
Unsharp Mask.

"Admiring..." is an interesting twist on to the Window Framed challenge.

One of the hardest things I have learned is that even if you have a good shot if voters do not feel the shot fit the category your score will tank. I really think that is was has happened here.

As for the photo itself.... I really like the idea and implementation. The composition is prefect. I love the reflection and it looks crystal clear (in the reflection specifically) from where I am sitting. I would be curious to see the castle itself, it looks amazing. The dof looks just right for a nice tight shot like this. I do like the border that you included, it tends to balance out the closeness. Overall this is a very nice shot, I think it may have done better in a different category.

Keep up the good work!

Sorry but doesn´t meet the challenge as far as I am concerned, just figured you deserved an explanation for the 2 you got from me.

Its pretty specific "a frame as in building" nice though.

Interesting idea but I think it was supposed to be window framed

If there's a window framing something here, I'm completely missing it. A nice job of capturing a reflection in some glasses though.

Glasses are not window, so you do not meet the challenge.

The reflection in the glasses doesn't really reach out and grab the viewer, which is what I suspect you were aiming for.

Not a bad shot, but there really isn't an argument that this fits the challenge in some way...

I see a face, sun glasses and a reflection of a building but no window framing the subject.

skin tones a touch on the red side but may just be my monitor.

I think exposing more for the reflection instead of the face would help to emphasize the buildng(I'm assuming that it is the subject) better instead of the face.
