I like this photo alot, but it seems a bit out of focus on the bottom portion.

an image like this that depends on the graphic lines for impact should be sharp thruout--yours is soft at the bottom. It's a nice idea and I like the composition.

This looks more like a photo of a painting, rather than a photo, period. The bright white background is a bit much.

hmm seems kindof plain
04/30/2006 03:21:22 PM
i think that this is a photo of artwork...

Simple abstraction of the challenge details. There is a bit of dirt it seems on the lower right hand corner that could have been cropped out specially since the focus on the color isn't as sharp down there. 6

uninteresting but fits the challenge. 5.

Now this is very interesting, like abstract art...maybe you have missed your calling. I like this alot, the only thing that would make this better is a deeper DOF, that's just my opinion however. Great concept, good luck! 8

I doubt this will do well. Abstracts usually don't. I love the simplicity of this shot. - 8

find that this actually works well ... usually don't go for the abstracts ... well done

I really like th simplicity of this shot. Perhaps different lighting may have been able to give the feeling of a little more depth to the paints.

3 - Meets the Challenge, just background is a little too bright in my opinion. Also not holding my attention overall enough, especially for what seems to be an abstract.

i wish it was in focus at the bottom

A fair study and the colours work well for the most part, but I would have like the background to be less overwhelming.

I like it. Made me think of the Denver Bronco immediately for some reason and since they are MY team, you get an extra point. I like the simple but creative approach to the challenge. I'd have liked to see the DOF extended to get paint at bottom in sharp focus, but that's a minor detail.
