 Worked hard on this one to get the feel I wanted and saw in my mind.

The medal is from the Russian army, late 1930's - early 1940's, the Order of The Red Star.

Text is a letter written from a soldier to his wife telling her to give the medal to their young son because the soldier fears he may not make it home.
