 I photographed this corner of a glass building downtown Toronto (the Royal Bank Plazza) in full sun on a clear day. The original came out very greish and kind of boring.

So in Photoshop, I converted the photo to grey scale, adjusted levels and contrast, inverted it, converted it back to RGB (still looking grey scale), in the hue and saturation window clicked colorize, and adjusted the hue slider to full red colour, and the saturation slider to 100% (all these perfectly legal adjustments according to DPC rules).

This whole process made the grey parts of the image red, and anything white became black, and very dark parts became white to pink.

I came across this process by total accident by fulling around with the hue and saturation sliders on another grey looking RGB image and decided to try it on this relfection.

I will post additional versions of the building in my portfolio for fun.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments !! I had no clue that I got a ribbon until I got back from my vacation. Very pleasant surprise for me.

this is an exciting image with its use of the red, like the red, white, and black bold colors in it, the pink does not work for me.

Love the shapes and design in this. Colour is quite dramatic - overexposure of bottom part produces almost too much glare, but it survives! [7]

Very cool. I like it... I kind of wish the middle went straight up, it sort of tilts to the right, but it's not a bid deal. I like this photo... artsy and interesting. -9-

I like the middle of this one, but the bottom is a bit "dirty" and overexposed. If you'd cropped off the bottom 1/4 or so I would have scored it higher. 6.
