Hey this is a great result Joya, each new one scores better:) I like the way you used the depth of field focus to show just the flower nice and sharp while the rest of the plant just sort of disappears. |

Great shot Joyah ... you are really improving in leaps and bounds. I the that a shallower DOF may have helped to cause less destraction ... and the flower is lovely.. I think that a little more on the left may have helped to pull it slightly more to thirds .. but great shot anyway. |

Pretty rose, I wish you had cropped tighter or zoomed in closer, there is a lot of uninteresting stuff in the photo. |

I love the delicate pink of the rose and it's well captured.
IMO, the photo would be improved by a tighter crop around just the rose. The black spots are not very attractive and the rocks are not helping the composition. They just pull your eye away from the beautiful subject. |

Ilove how perfectly formed roses exist on imperfect plants. I like this picture better when I scroll so the rose is kinda in the upper left third rather than halfway down (ie crop a bit off the top.) |

I think a shallower depth of field could have helped bring out this subject; also, I'd have liked to see a tighter crop. Nonetheless, it's a pretty shot. |

Image is soft. I would've cloned out the problems with the leaves in the background. |

very nice rose, but the background is a bit distracting. I would have tried a shallower depth of field or put something behind it like some black fabric to make the rose stand out, then it would have been striking. |

Im jealous, mine don't even have leaves yet! Great subject, fits the chalenge well. I would have croped a little closer on the top and left for more of a 3rds position on the rose |
