wonderful composition, and a beautiful model. i'd love to see a little more contrast in this, and maybe some dodging on her eyes to help make those killer eyelashes stand out more...hope this makes sense.

Nice candid capture of a young lady, certainly in thought...and perhaps smelling the flowers she's holding? Is that a lens flare circle in the top left?

I like the nice tight crop. It doesn't look like too many people gave you the "it's outside and not in a studio so it does not qualify".

I gave this a 6. My one issue when I originally saw it is that it does not look like she is looking at the flower. Even if she did it would be a problem because then she'd be quite cross-eyed. But with her not looking at them, I wondered why they were there.

The picture needs a boost on the levels. I pulled it into photoshop and a boost of 0/1.03/214 did a good job. It blows out the flower more, but since this is advanced, you can mask the flower off so it isn't affected. The increase gives her face more life.

Contrast is a generally good thing, but in portraits I find contrast quickly makes the person look harsh. You have a good level here. Perhaps some mild unsharp mask to make it a little sharper. We are quite used to very sharp images on DPC and that may have helped a bit too. I tried 100%/0.3/1 and it looked a bit better.

I really like how her face fills most of the frame. Would have loved it better if she was looking into the camera so those eyes would open up more.

looks slightly under exposed. a little bump on the contrast would have improved this otherwise good photo.

The flower looks like it was exposed, white the child isn't. This really puts the emphasis on the flower, which looks like it was dodged to bring out exposure. It's just strange; how is the flower bright and lit up, while the face and hands are not?
