 I had the incredible experience of watching and photography two Monarch butterflies emerge from their chrysalis and gather strength for three hours before they flew of. I took hundreds of photos!

Nice shot. If you look at my challenge entries you'll find these guys and their caterpillars and their chrysalis feature a lot. I've got 50 swan plants on the deck and just love watching their progress. Boy are they hard on the plants though.

What a great photo to get! I would have cropped a little more off the bottom and brightened up the green and yellow a little more, but other than that a nice shot.

For me this photo fit the challange. It is very clear and there was nothing else in the photo to draw my attention away from the subject. Very nice work!

A nice photo of a monarch, nice to see them hatching somewhere at this time of year! I would have preferred a better background, I find it a little distracting, but otherwise, well done!
