This Camera can make much better shots, believe me, I use this type too. Practise a bit more, you will surely be able to make very much better shots!

There is a LOT of pixelization in this image -- either it has been "digitally zoomed" (which is a big no-no) or it was saved with a very low JPEG quality. All of the blockiness makes it difficult to judge the photo for what it is...

I couldn't work out the focal point of this piece, the resolution seems a little poor also sorry!
08/12/2003 08:32:18 AM
focus or dof off...

Nothing seems in focus here right from the fence in front to the sky meeting the mountains. Even the building, the main subject, is not in focus. This might have been a good shot had it been taken closer to the building.

Focus is very important to an image. In this case, both the forground and the background are out of focus.

low quality, and i don't see any right angles in this photo.
08/09/2003 01:36:29 PM
Pixelation got you...interesting image but compression seems to have impacted the quality of the image...unless you were going for the "right angles" of the pixels?
08/09/2003 04:06:55 AM
Color seems off... a bit fuzzy

not sure why this is so grainy - either your cam resolution is just too low for this kind of shot, or you used digital zoom, either in the cam or with software later. make sure you cam is set to the highest resolution and don't mess with it too much afterwards. PM me if you need any help. Pedro

Overexposed picture. Turn down the ISO setting. If it's on auto, play around with the manual mode. Are you taking the picture with 640X480? Use a higher pixel count and lower in a Photo program. It will give a better result then taking the picture in a lower resolution.

Sorry, but I don't see anything leaning here except a few minor plants in the foreground. And I don't perceive many right angles giving strength to this image. It appears rather pixelated, making the image very blurry. Did you intend the right angles in the square pixels to meet the challenge criteria? Intentional pixelation can be a useful compositional device in digital photographs, but the pixels need to be large enough to make it obvious that's what you are doing.

the resolution is really poor. That make the picture horribly blurry. A bit off-topic also
08/07/2003 04:27:34 PM
very pixelly -- I'm guessing way over compressed. It might be a good picture, but just saved to JPG wrong. You might want to look at your photo software's settings.

saturate, focus, pick a subject!!!
08/07/2003 12:25:21 PM
I'm afraid the quality and interest in this shot is just not enough. It looks very light, heavily compressed and lacks significant right-angle connections. There's too much foreground and it's difficult to relate the image to your title or the challenge. Sorry.
08/07/2003 08:18:03 AM
the quality of the image is so low that I cannot recognize the subject in foreground
08/07/2003 06:28:23 AM
it's kind of blurry but still very cool!
08/07/2003 05:35:31 AM
?????

image is of very low quality pixelwise. are you using too much compression in your JPGs? or maybe resizing the wrong way?
08/06/2003 10:10:40 AM
Nothing is in focus here. I love the shot though. The old barn is great.
08/06/2003 04:52:50 AM
I see no right angles giving strength to this pic just weeds sorry I've gotta give it a 3
08/06/2003 03:25:41 AM
too unclear and out of focus and overexposured - 3
08/06/2003 02:00:01 AM
This shot didn't really communicate anything to me about right angles.
