 My first real attempt at candid shots.
These rosey cheeks are natural on my Swiss belle friend. She has been hand-sewing dresses for poor children in Guatamala and Asia for decades.

portrait. should have saved this one for 'old' this week. oops. very well done port.. ahem picture. beautiful soft color, great DOF, really immersed in the room with the ol gal. feels so soft and cozy. well done. you deserve at least an 8. would be a 10 in a little more apporpriate challenge.

Simply beautiful, best yet. Outside of the comp. this photo would make a lovely portrait after a bit of advanced editing too.

The lighting makes the image. And it is excellent here. Great expression, muted colors work well. Composition excellent 8

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.

This photo really needed some USM and a tonal adjustment to get that story or emotion across. The colors here and lack of sharpness kind of fades away the moment. A 4 vote from me.
