I'd suggest "rule 38" for a title - nice pic |

not quite sure what to make of this. as a photo, it's a bit of a wreck. no central focus, a lot of chaos. not really a good time of day to be shooting. as for the challenge, well, if your score isn't where you would like it to be, you might want to read this thread |

The subjects are too far removed from the viewer (in this case, me) to provoke the type of emotional response that,IMO, makes for a successful candid. In a candid I look for either the unexpected or for the subject(s) to have been captured revealing a strong emotion, be it glee, fury, pride, frustration, etc. |

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry in this challenge.
This is alright, but I don't see much by way of any particular interest. In categories I would list it myself as a water or an action, and not a candid. There is really no emotional value being portrayed from any one or more persons, and just two boats with two sailors on them. I can see there is some conflict happening between the boats, but there doesn't seem to be much concern over it that I can see. To me, as a candid, it is a 4. |
