I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.

WAY too dark. Can't see a face, can't see a story. Reminds me of some old portraits of Einstein. LOL...Not really a candid for me. More of a b/w photo and an emotive maybe, but not really a candid. I like to see people with emotions or in a situation a bit more out of the ordinary.

face a little too dark, if the lips were able to be seen, then there would be enough details elsewhere.

Alternative title: 'And only warts were lit'...

Nice sharpness on hair and ear. But the lighting and exposure is so severe, that this seems like more of an image of an ear than of a person. Of course more face and less ear would be better.

perfect for the low key challenge - not really much emotion in this shot

Like this - though the over-exposure of the side of the face is a pity - ina shot with little enough visible, it's a pity to lose that shaping and information.

Just not quite enough to give me a good view. I like what I can see, I just wish I saw a little more.

I guess you wanted dark, but this is EXTREMELY dark.
