yes, this is a candid portrait, but there's not enough character in her young face to tell me anything. her expression is basically emotionless, which leaves the image rather uninteresting. the post-processing you chose is not very complimentary to her face, either. |

too close to be a candid, what's going on? what she doing? where is she? in jail? i doubt it but maybe right? |

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.
This is alright. Great tonal usage, but little emotion or story to the photo. Kind of looks as if you lost the attention of someone you wanted to take a portrait of, so no big wow factor here for me as a candid. It's still very good overall, with the usage of tones and focus. A 5 from me. |
