This lacks focus and a main point of interest. Although there are right angles there is nothing to hold the attention for long. Getting some way up one of the buildings and shooting from there would enable you to 'straighten' the exterior lines which currently taper due to your POV. |

Picture is underexposed. Not enough light hitting the lense. Reason is overcast skies. Try taking out of Auto exposure and boost the ISO or Exposure rating on your camera . Better with a tripod or if you can't afford (like me), brace up against something sturdy like a wall. The way the compostion is that the buildings lead your eyes upwards and you don't really look at the Empire State Building. Try cropping lower or take a picture closer to the ESB if you really want to include it. |
