Because of the lighting reflecting so strongly off the chess pieces and the directions for the challenge were that the right angle(s) was to create the strength of the image I don't see this as a strong entry. A softer light or lighting the board from behind might help the right angles to define the photo moreso than they currently do. 5

Composition is nice. Love the reflections on the board. Don't really like the lighting. Takes away from the picture.

great colors and reflections

Nice composition and the blue is a good choice. I love these glass chess pieces! I'd love to have some. I'm wondering what this would look like if the piece on the right were in profile, but that's my curiosity. 9

Aha! Very clever indeed. Lighting and mood make for bonus points! 9

Great lighting & nice chess set too. Shouldn't the bishop be over one square?

love the colors, could do without the reflections and perhaps a better angle on the chess board

Great shot. Lets play chess sometime?:)

Is that the king or queen on the far left? If it's the king, I think the bishop is on the attack, and therefore just made a stupid move by putting the king in check with the knight right there! Haha, of course, that is why it is going down...

Very nice shot. I like the color. Did you put a piece of glass over the board to get the reflections? Maybe it's the opacity of the piece, but the bishop seems to be less sharp than the clearer pieces.

Cool colors, love the reflections and the way you've set the whole shot up. This will do very well - 10.

the main subject of your photo are the chess keys; these don't have particularly strong right angles. You miss a bit the challenge here, right angles being just a characteristic of your background...

Seems like the reflection is the strength of the shot and the right angles are more after thoughts...
