 The shadow was on my daughters front side while shooting this photo, I just increased levels to make it completely disappear. I then ran an acid filter on it and bumped up the blue saturation a tad. Did a little neat imaging to remove noise in the sky. Resize & Add border.

The title was inspired by the LiveStrong cancer awareness issue. I thought her hand position showed strength and enjoyment of life.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

The most striking part of this image is , of course, the composition. I think you did a terrific job here capturing an exuberant feel. Taken as a whole I think this image has good appeal.

My main criticism would be that I find the processing a little on the heavy side though. The blues and greens shift pretty dramatically in the background. They don't seem to blend well. Maybe consider burning in the shadow of the girl instead of using levels to make that happen, and then adjust the background afterwards? Just a thought.

I like the image a lot though. Keep up the good work!

Its a good graphical shot but while viewing it is showing that its been edit on computer and obviously the borders are competiting with the silhoutte emage.
