NICE!! I like the contrasting warm hues of the field against the cold wooden platform. The spiderweb is the icing on the cake! |

When you first look at this, your eyes are are focused on the center of the piece. The way that the banister goes toward the left your eyes are lead there, but because it leads to nothing you look at the other direction. The title really helps you notice the web. Without it you really don't notice it. |

So strong is the pattern and DOF effect of this that I wonder if it would have looked even more interesting with the contextual background cropped out - so that the top ends at a point through the top rail? I think that if you'd shot it so that the top rail was at 90 degrees to eye level this would have worked, but cropping would look odd because of the angles.
Love the shot. [8] |

This is the most creative photo in the challenge in my opinion. It is beautifully taken. |

This is a nice shot, but I think I would have liked a bit lower or higher angle to make the spider webb more visible. |

This could have been a great picture - but if your title emphasises the spiderweb then it should occupy more of the frame |

Nicely thought and composed picture! I love the spider's web in the right angle. |

Lovely. I like the quality of light and the way it catches the web. I'd like a touch more of the walkway flooring but I like this a lot as it is - it leads me to wonder what's down the walkway - ie it pulls me in. |

I like this, but since you chose the web as you titled subject I would have liked to have seen it other than where it is in this shot. |

striking composition and combination of textures.... very intellegent cropping - i love the framing. The hand rail has the illusion of being (nearly) straight and parallel to the picture plane, yet is actually receding in space. The warm of the grass and cool of the wood contribute subtle colour to the minimal beauty of this. |

IMHO - I might have framed this shot with the web at the top right corner.
The top left corner looks over exposed due to the sun. |

I think i would like this better if you cropped out the whole left side leaving just the fence post with the spiderweb, it took me a while to find it. Very nice however. |

This is very good, especially with the reeds in the water with the sunlight on them. The spider web is really fitting here as well. The only part which is a little distracting for me here is the top left hand corner above the railing. It's pulling my eyes aways from the rest of the image. Cropping it out would have also cropped out too much of the railing I guess. Maybe a different shooting position might have somehow avoided including that part into your photo - 8. |

Very nice verticals. Almost look like pages of a thick book. |
