I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.

Unfortunately, candids of animals or the like are really not what I look for in a good candid. Animals are aware and both unaware at the same time of a photographer, nor do they care either way. Too easy, no comfort zone lost. It's a 2 for me.

nice idea, but the image is rather harsh and the focus is a bit soft. if your score isn't where you would like it to be, you might want to read this thread

I agree that "candid" doesn't have to be a person picture but this has a lot of technical flaws. the colour cast is distracting, the background doesn't contribute to the composition and the vignetting could easily be fixed with a little bit of croping.

Interesting subject. Not quite in focus (closer snail). Color a little jarring.

Blurry around the snails. The colours seem way too red/orange. I think that your lightsource was orangy and so if you had used white balance you would have got better colours.
