Simple and effective. The slightly off center works really well. |

Good image and true to the poltergeist theme. Would like to have seen it in colour but overall it's one of my favorites this week. Good Luck, Todd. 9. |

I didn't enter for this challenge, but I must say when I first read the challenge this is the first image that jumped into my head. I never did get around to doing it at all, but it looks like I would have had a lot of trouble trying to get a shot better than you did it, good one. |

My voting criteria for this challenge are:
1. Did you capture a scene from the movie (as the challenge brief states) or did you enter a picture and fit a title to it.
2. How close a rendition is your image to the movie.
3. How does the image stand up in its own right.
In this case:
1. Pretty safe to assume that you took this photo for the challenge and this film.
2. I think this is a good rendidtion of the scene, colour may have helped though.
3. Using the TV as the light source has unfortunately lead to under-exposure in most of the image, exposing for the head and body would have shown more detail in the image.

Pretty cool... Think I would have either cropped to fill the entire frame with the TV static (the black uneven border is kinda weird) -- or taken a bit wider shot where you could see the entire TV set and some other dark shadowy things in the room. Maybe a longer exposure so the glow from the TV would give off a cool lighting effect on other items in room. |

Awesome job. 'cept the little girl is looking a little more masculine than i remember. :) one of my top votes so far. I like the thin white line inside your border, sets it off nicely. Pedro |

Cool idea, and a nice result. I would've liked to see a girl, with long hair, to represent more closely the movie. I like this movie a lot, because it really scared me when I was a kid. |
