 Editing: Crop, levels, desaturate, curves, shadow/highlight, convert to greyscale, change to tritone, contrast, resize, smart sharpen, save for web.

This man was playing alongside the river with his little boy and little girl. He seemed like such a kind and loving father. I hope the tenderness that he showed for his children showed in this picture. They were totally unaware that I was on a bridge upstream taking pictures with my 400mm lens.

Nicely competent work - no, in fact better than that. It's just this kind of subject that doesn't appeal to me. Very good work though.

This is a wonderful capture. Makes me want to leave work early and go hug my little guy. ;^) You've done a great job in the composition, the exposure for lighting is right on the mark and you have a nice tonal range with the black & greys. Good luck in the challenge!

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.

I like the tones here. The capture is good. Good cropping done. Some decent interest. It's a good 6 photo for me, and a 6 is one of the higher scores I gave in this challenge. Nice capture.
