This is Jessie, on the roof of the Black Dog Power Plant. she was looking at our tour guide while he explained the process of converted coal to electricity. It was very interesting, but no matter the economic downfall, we need to rely on more on renewable resourses. Sorry, Black Dog.

I realy wanted to do more with image. too bad for basic editing...

This was completely candid. My friend was looking at our tour guide.

Thanks for the comments. I do suppose that part of having a good candid includes having it look candid.

looks a bit posed for a true candid (even though all the best candids are very posed) but is still a great image

Indeed. Feels utterly posed, though.

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.

Well, this challenge was really about capturing a candid, and not about power and beauty and how they equate to each other. Glasses and hats are a nightmare to the candid photographer. They mask emotion in many cases, and this photo is a prime example. I see little emotion or anything that shouts at me. Little interest, nothing extra ordinary, nothing out of the every day realm, or anything that even gives me a feeling for what she is thinking or any story. To me this is a 3 for a candid challenge. I would like to also have seen more focus in play for this shot.

Obviously the beauty doesn't really do much manual labor since she has a shinny sparkling new hard hat. OK I guess but it really doesn't seem candid at all. It might be but it doesn't really look it.

Oh I like the circle of her earring against the linear sense of the rest of the shot. I like her placement in the shot as well. The blue hat pulls you to her. Good one. 8

shame about the focus on this...she's quite blurry

Like the contrast between the industrial background and the lovely model. Well done.
