 Fumarole of hot gas escaping from the earth in a geologically active area of Mount Lassen called the "Sulfur Works." Reminded me of the birth of a volcano.

Nice idea but the "volcano" looks pretty tame. If possible a view from a more distant perspctive might have shown more of the volcano shape, etc. you expect to see.

Dante's Peak might have been a better title...I think Volcano was the one set in Los Angeles.
