 Taken late at night after arriving in Mexico for our 30th wedding anniversary trip. I wanted to capture the silken flow of the water ebbing and flowing.

This shot was taken in RAW, converted in CS2 with nearly a +3.0 exposure compensation. I used Curves, B&C, Levels, Hue/Saturation on the whole image. I used multiple uses of Reduce Noise over the image, using layers with erased sections to keep detail in the rocks. I also used Selective Color in the sand, and rocksto bring them back to more natural tone after the tint from the night sky turned them green. The same tool was used on the sky. Finally, reduce size, USM and border added.

I\'m not sure how this will be viewed for textures, but I feel it fits. To me it\'s the silken texture that brings out the romance of the scene. We\'ll see what you think.

Great shot, but the colors seems a bit awkward to me. I bet it would have worked a lot better at sunrise/sunset. Working from this shot, however, if it were me I'd probably have converted to B/W.

Wonderful scenery that covers more than one texture. From silky smooth to rough edges. The rocks look like they needed a little more sharpening though. But great work. Good luck.
