Shutter: 1.3 sec

 red laser, candle stick holder, mist from humidifier.

Apply in equal parts. Mix thoroughly.
Shoot in dark room with flash to define glass.
1.3 sec shutter to get laser light to show up well.

Itty bitty red laser pointer is NOT strong enough to show up without reflecting off something. Mist from humidifier took care of that.

Nice Idea here.

I feel a bit more light in the candlestick would make this even better, and I find though that the bending of the light should be carried through the candlestick to make it just that bit more believable
