| I'm sorry. There have been a bunch of pet-nose-pictures here lately. None of them have knocked my socks off. So this photo was handicapped from my point of view from the start. Having said that, it does a pretty good job making me feel the texture of the fur in the top 2/3 of the photo. It is well lit. Tonal range is good. And it avoids the all-too-common-sin in this challenge of over sharpening. Soft focus due to shallow DOF in the bottom 1/4 of the photo weakens the overal impact for me. You exhibited good technical talent with this. Keep shooting, learning and improving. And watch your scores improve! |
