 Wasn't planning to submit anything, but I didn't have much work to do, so this is what I ended up doing.

Shot glass filled with washing up liquid, with a little twig in it.
Placed the subject on dining table with a patch of window light.

Used a fresnel lens in between the camera lens and subject. Twisted the fresnel lens slightly to bend the light (bent glass).


**Focussing on the twig would perhaps be more appropriate as a classroom illustration of refraction for the kids, but that's what I don't want it to be.

I think if glasses were shaped like this, it would be easier to drink from them.
Having said that, I have actually seen glasses shaped similar to this. So it sort of defeats the purpose of the image in a way. But I must stress that there's more to the image, even if it's only in my head :)

- Adjusted Curves for contrast
- Converted to monochrome
- Tinted with Hue/Saturation
- Used Curves to adjust tint on individual channels
- Resampled
- Sharpened twice with different settings
- Added border

Not bad! Unusual change from the coke advert colouring. The white light seems to enter the liquid in the glass from the top right, and comes out bottom left onto a background.

And then, the glass is a bit distorted itself, and the rod in it. A nice image, though personally, I feel a bit more varied colour would improve it - but nice shot

Unique! Like this a lot. It's refreshingly modern and pretty artistic. One of 2 top picks in this challenge for me even tho it won't be the views of the majority.

This is nice although I would like it more if there was more light on the object being refracted and the bright white line weren't there.
