try experimenting with the lights: to avoid that kind of unpleasant shadows you should have your background at some distance behind the object, also try to soften the lights some more; as to the composition, this subject doesen't look especially interesting smack in the middle of the image, and with so much empty space around; good luck! |

Nice clarity and colors. Keep doll further away from background to soften the overly hard shadows. Less-central and less-straight-on composition would be better. |

I like what the shadows are doing, I suppose some might brand it negative. I cant help but feel as if this doll is posing at a police station for a few perp shots LOL! Nice colour. |

Love the blue eyes, however, had this been taken with the doll about a foot away from the background you would have lost those shadows. Still an ok image. |

You might try some experiments with lighting to get a better effect. For one, try moving the subject further from the wall... and see if you can bounce a flash off a ceiling. Those are a couple ways you can avoid the nasty shadows :) |
