 Well this is my first submission! I have only recently started photography and only purchased a D70 about 1.5 months ago, and loving every minute of it. I am learning everyday and hope to show everyone my perspective of the world through my photos as I improve.

The sunset was particularly spectacular today and gave off an amazing yellow/orange light.

This looks a lot more "orange" than yellow to me.

Beautiful colors, nice silhouette. I don't like the balance of the image though. I'm not sure if a shift of position so just that branch on the right was being silhouetted and the rest of the palm was either forming a dark left-hand border or not in the image at all would be possible or better. While the focus is good there does seem to be something missing from the image, the POP isn't there. I'm not sure if that's a focus issue or something else though. 5
