Thanks for the comments guys.
About the brick - if I had a red one, I would have, but all I could findin my collection was brown... :-(
About the focus - I was trying to lead the eye to the brick, and to this end used the lens (85mm tilt n shift) at its maximum tilt, which achieved the diagonal plane of focus, and the oof corners.
30th, not bad. |

If all the pegs were in focus I think this would have been awesome |

The red looks flat or I would have rated this higher. |

Very good idea. Not sure about the o/f corners though, and I would like the brown brick tilted a bit more, but very imaginative. |

simplicity and placement is good---could benefit from a little better exposure---5 |

Good theme, but strange approach to dof. You are clearly shooting a single plane shot, why blur the corners then? |

Composition, pattern, it all works so well. It's cool that something that uses imagination is used in such an imaginative way. |

Nice composition. Wished the corners were in focus/greater DOF. |

I really like the simplicity of this... only thing that I would have changed is used a different color lego instead of brown. 9 |

Why is your photo going fuzzy in the corners? I like the simplicity. |

Great composition. I think a brighter red would add more punch. |
