Wow, i totally missed that it was a bug. Guess you did a good job making it unrecognizable at first glance! I would have marked this one higher had I known it was a bug. I just thought you were taking a picture of a mask. :-)

Fantastic take on the challenge. I truly like it.

Not abstract enough. Extreme closeup might have been neat

It sure does look like a mask. I think the cropping is too tight on this one. Colors are nice and the texture is interesting.

This was definitely a double take. Meets challenge very well. Not the best quality, but I love the subject.

Normally I don't care for smaller pictures. This subject, however, makes this one an exception. Nice photo and even better awareness to even notice the design.

This is nice! How did you get this bug?

Very interesting subject matter. Good choice for the challenge. I would suggest cropping out the heads and legs for more of an abstract look. Of course, you have probably been getting lots of comments about the smallness and grainy quality of the image file. It looks like maybe your camera doesn't have a macro function and you had to crop this from a much bigger image. Nice effort, if not a great entry.

Interesting subject. Too tightly cropped. A different angle and composition might have held my interest longer.

Nice. Dual picture. Very nice.

I don't think this is abstract.

Should have had this one in "master of disguise! :)

At first I thought it was truely a mask. Then I looked closer and realized it was a beatle. A good thing I looked closer. I was going to score it lower. Nice job...a little fuzzy though.

Neat shot and looks like a mask from the long lost hoodoo tribe :}\7

Again, a good close-up, but not a "true" abstract...

Great and dificult subject. The crop has cut parts of the beetle mutilating the image. The focus and crop sugest that we don´t have a real macro, a picture taken with very few inches of the subject, due to some limitation of skill or hardware. But a nice subject at all.
