This is a tea light which I shot using macro. The only light source I used was the glow from the candle itself.
I then cropped the picture, and adjusted the colours, saturation, and gamma waves, and I also sharpened it a bit.

Nice warm colors, I am sure this would have scored higher if there was not so much noise in the background.

Capturing flames are hard because they can easily glow out in the highlights. This one is very close on the top of the flame. Also the noise factor is a bit distracting, almost like you shot it through a very fine mesh screen or something. The reflection of the flame on the front is also a bit distracting. A 4
