 This is my cat Tiga. She loves sunbathing. Whenever the sun comes out, she'll seek out the most sunny part of the room, lay down, and snooze. Every few minutes when the sun moves, she'll get up, move, and lay down again. It's really a tough life being a cat.

The lighting effect of this shot was accidental. The room was very well lit but the one spot where Tiga was snoozing was brightly lit by a slice of direct sunshine. The difference in brightness created a spotlight effect. I put the camera on the ground and underexposed by 2 stops.

Post-processing:
* Crop
* Levels
* Unsharp mask
* Copy layer, gaussian blur, then change layer to 25% opacity (slight soft-focus effect)
