Got the idea from the RadiantVista.com website tutorial on sizing for the web.

Head to the hardware store to get a sheet of glass. Tried many attempts to make the water droplets but couldn't get the droplets to form. Viscosity of the water on the glass plate was too weak so the water drops would just flatten out. I tried to freeze the glass plate with some water but that didn't work out either.

Then it occurs to me to spray the water droplets on the bottom side of the glass while it was suspended between two chairs (make-shift studio). This did the trick allowing the water droplets to form.

Setup:

- Sheet of glass between two chairs.
- Spray bottle of water to spray the underside of the glass.
- Flowers in a cup strategically placed so that they would reflect in the water drops.
- Two light sources on the flowers.
- sheet of blue paper placed on top of the glass (for the blue background).

I took a bunch of pictures (while laying on the ground). I liked this one the best because it was at the right angle to give the droplets more depth and overlap.

Minimal processing.

RawShooter Premium:
- Crop
- Adjust Color Temp / Tint (3100/36)
- Adjust curve/levels to give more tonality
- slight bit of fill light
- batch convert to TIFF

Photoshop Elements:
- resized for submission
- USM
- save to web

I hope my description handles how I did this shot. I had hoped it would do better but I could tell from the initial vote results that it wasn't... so I turned of the ability to see votes in my profile till the voting was over... now I feel better ;-).
