 357 mag hollow points in a speedloader
Used a manual 28-80 macro zoom lens I bought 20 years ago at Kmart ("Focal" brand) set at f3.5 and 1/45 sec. and shot at about 6 inches distance. Lit by a simple flashlight held overhead.

Cropped, adjusted levels (alot) and added a border.

I've been hitting the mediocre numbers pretty hard lately. So although this isn't that hard to figure out, it's my best shot for the challenge material.

Well (post challenge) my focus killed me. Oddly enough, I submitted the off-focus on purpose. I thought it gave it a ruddy, dark character appropriate to the death it represents. These particular loads are law enforcement shells and are only good for one purpose - a stark and ominous purpose.

if only this were in focus. great image, but the poor focus really lets you down.
